I like this hike a lot. However there are a lot of loose rocks in the higher part which make the hike a bit dangerous. Great hike with dogs. Beautiful views on top.

29 yo male. Completed the hike in 30 mins. Enjoyed the views for a bit. Total time spent is 1.5 hrs. Views are spectacular from the top. This can be a difficult hike for someone with no hiking experience or low fitness level. Otherwise it’s fun and easy. Really enjoyed it.

Be careful walking down, slipped twice.
A beautiful hike nonetheless, like a quieter more remote Mt. Finlayson.

Planning to visit in July and trying to see how this compares with Lake Thetis or Mt. Douglas Pk. Maybe someone can help. I am bringing 20 hikers and I don't won't to disappoint them AND we have to be back at Spaghetti Factory by 5 pm for dinner.

Beautiful hike, challenging at times but relatively intermediate. Great view at the top, nice place for a picnic/lunch.

This is one of my favourite hikes in the Victoria area but unfortunately it is going to start to get busy now. I've done this trail for more than 10-years and it used to be that you might only see a few people on it but now it can be very busy. Best to do it during the week if you can. Also best on a sunny day, the views won't disappoint.

Spectacular views, lots of interesting terrain, and a good workout. My favourite hike in the CRD so far. Some parts of the trail are a little underdeveloped - steep, loose rocks, might even necessitate a bit of scrambling - so wear good shoes and be sure you're up for it. Probably best avoided when wet.
