Great park for families. Yes, it’s off leash and there are a few irresponsible owners but considering how many dog walkers use this facility, it’s very rare to find poop. And many of us will pick up piles that were not from our dogs. Very little litter..several trash receptacles along the trails. I’ve been going there for 8 years and have never witnessed or even heard about a dog altercation with another dog. There is limited parking in the winter. The wild life is abundant. Eagle nests, the waters are filled with otters, seals and whales often pass near shore in the winter. Many sea birds fish in the bay. It’s a true jewel in the crown!

Visited with my family, EVERY TIME:
- Off leash dogs running out of sight and control...so much for wildlife viewing in this park. Oh, but have been witness to several dog fights, if that counts as "wildlife". If your dog runs up to our family it gets a kick in the head. It will then learn not to do this.

- Fresh dog shit commonly found along trails. Children have stepped in it. Have encountered it literally a few steps from the waste bin.
