Eagle nests, the waters are filled with otters, seals and whales often pass near shore in the winter. Many sea birds fish in the bay. It’s a true jewel in the crown!

- Off leash dogs running out of sight and control...so much for wildlife viewing in this park. Oh, but have been witness to several dog fights, if that counts as "wildlife". If your dog runs up to our family it gets a kick in the head. It will then learn not to do this.

- Fresh dog shit commonly found along trails. Children have stepped in it. Have encountered it literally a few steps from the waste bin.
